Preparatory Orchestra Conductor
We are seeking to fill the position of Conductor of the Preparatory Orchestra. This string-only ensemble is our entry-level performing orchestra, designed to help musicians with at least one year of playing experience develop their skills to the level necessary for membership in one of our full orchestras. This group plays grade .5-1.5 level music. Candidates should have a demonstrated knowledge of strings fundamentals and a proven track record of successful teaching.
Season runs September 13-May 8 (24 rehearsals and 4 concerts)
Rehearsals are Sundays from 1:00-1:50PM at UT Tyler
Pay is $2500 per season

Artistic Operations Coordinator
We are seeking to fill the position of Artistic Operations Coordinator. This person:
coordinates the set-up / tear-down for weekly rehearsals
assists conductors with rehearsal logistics
communicates performance needs with host concert venues
coordinates volunteers to serve as stage crew
oversees concert set-up and changes
Season runs September 13-May 8 (24 rehearsals and 4 concerts)
Rehearsals are Sundays from 1:00-1:50PM at UT Tyler
Pay is $18 per hour (approximately 5 hrs per week / 8 hrs on concert days)
